This Privacy Policy explains how Metamorphos Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Stay Versed (the "Service"), including this website and the Stay Versed mobile app. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Waitlist email. If you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you launch updates.
Account information (in the app). When the app launches, creating an account may involve a name or display name, email address, and authentication details.
Gameplay data. Progress, scores, streaks, difficulty level, and category preferences, used to run the game and personalize your experience.
Device & usage data. Basic technical information (device type, app version, and anonymized usage and crash data) to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How We Use Information

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To send you waitlist and launch updates you've asked for.
To save your progress, streaks, and preferences.
To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, email delivery, hosting, and analytics), and only as needed to provide their services, or where required by law.

No data sales, ever. Stay Versed is built on subscriptions and optional purchases — not on selling your information to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Children's Privacy

Stay Versed is designed for a general audience, including older children playing with family. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us at support@metamorphosstudio.com and we will delete it promptly.

5. Data Retention

We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Account and gameplay data is retained while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after you delete your account, except where we must keep certain records for legal or financial compliance.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of marketing emails (every email includes an unsubscribe link). California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete — and we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. 7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and will notify you of a breach affecting your personal information as required by law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
